Nicholas Heath
Nicholas D. Heath, despite some evidence to the contrary, is a humanoid freelance writer based in Sydney, Australia. He is a graduate of the University of Sydney and the Sydney College of the Arts, majoring in Film Studies and English. While writing his horrifying thesis titled, The Figure Behind the Knife: A Study of The Rural Slasher, Nicholas also began his illustrious career as a hard-working, highly-skilled, but sadly underpaid freelance writer.
Specialising in both music and film, Nicholas had interviews, reviews and articles published in many local street newspapers and magazines such as The Drum Media, Blunt, The Brag, Inpress, Forte and Time Out. He interviewed many big names and managed to garner more hate mail than any other local writer. His parents were so proud.
Growing weary of the rigours of writing full-time, Nicholas sought respite in the performing arts. Music was his main medium and in the field which he had written with so much love…and contempt, Nicholas gained some moderate success.
After spending some years travelling around the globe, including a brief stint as the Governor of Sardinia, Nicholas returned home to Sydney to rebuild his now forgotten reputation as one of the most stylish, intellectual and offensive writers working in Australia. With tobacco pipe in hand, Nicholas paced the floor of his study when a devilishly brilliant idea flashed into his mind. Why set one’s sights on the tiny backwater of Australia? No, he had bigger fish to fry and like most megalomaniacs his purpose was precise…World domination. Through a wider, global readership, Nicholas would seek the power he had always craved. Welcome to phase one of this abominable plan…Suite101.
